A pretty rural cottage in lovely Wighton

Carpenters Cottage is a beautiful grade two listed cottage, recently renovated which sleeps two (plus baby). Downstairs, there is a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and a kitchen with room enough to sit and eat in. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with a kingsize Loaf bed and a lovely bathroom with shower bath.  From the kitchen you can walk out to the sunny patio which has comfortable garden furniture. Carpenters Cottage has a large fenced garden, great for dogs to run around in, which looks out towards fenced paddocks and the church beyond. The cottage has it's own parking space at the rear of the property. Dog friendly.

Carpenters Cottage is in a lovely position in Wighton. It is next to the newly opened Carpenters Arms pub which serves locally sourced food and drinks. After a long day at the beach, it is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a coffee or a pint of Woodfordes Wherry. There are lots of beautiful walks and cycle tracks in the area.





This was a last minute booking for us and our two dogs. Jane was extremely helpful and everything was ready for when we arrived, along with a much appreciated bottle of wine and other essentials. The cottage is beautiful and well equipped . . . Read More . . .

Changeover Day: Low Season: Mondays and Fridays. High Season: Fridays.

Low Season - From £400 to £520 (Typical) per week.

High Season / School Holidays - From £520 to £650 (Typical) per week.

Dog fee: £20 per dog per stay.

Wighton is situated some 3 miles south of the town of Wells-next-the-Sea, 7 miles north of the town of Fakenham, and 28 miles north-west of the city of Norwich. The medieval pilgrimage centre of Walsingham lies 2 miles to the south.
