Grey Goose Cottage is a lovely fisherman’s cottage which sleeps 3, in 2 bedrooms.
Grey Goose cottage is only footsteps away from the harbour and the sea. Our guests enjoy being in the centre of the village with many restaurants and cafes close by. Younger guests love the pirate play park and ice cream parlour at the end of the road.
Fully centrally heated with a new kitchen recently added, the house has a wonderfully sunny, south facing enclosed courtyard where you can relax with a glass or two, after a busy day on the beach.
Wells has a great variety of shops, all close by to Grey Goose Cottage. This includes a butcher, greengrocer, deli and several bakers plus a supermarket all within walking distance. There is a great selection of pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy.
Wells beach is a wonderful stretch of sand as far as the eye can see, right at the end of the sea wall about a mile away from the harbour. You can either walk to the beach or take a 5 minute ride by beach bus. Brightly painted beach huts, which you can rent, line the beach. You can carry on down the beach and go as far as Holkham or beyond stopping at the Lookout cafe on the way. There are many other beaches in the area to explore plus lots of pretty inland villages which are best visited by bike if you fancy a slower pace of discovery.
Downstairs the cottage comprises of a sitting room and kitchen with dining room table.
There are books, games, toys and wifi.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one with a glimpse of the sea!) and a light and airy family bathroom.
Wells next the Sea is in the middle of the North Norfolk coast, approximately an hour away from Norwich.
It is easy to reach by car from London and the South East via the M25, M11 and A1065 or from the Midlands and North by the A1, A47 or A17.

Low Season is from November until March excluding Christmas and Bank Holidays.
Mid Season is from April to June/September to October excluding half terms and Bank Holidays.
High Season is from July-August plus Christmas, half terms and Bank Holidays.

Wow! A charming, high quality and very special place to stay. The attention to detail and cleanliness are exceptional. So many little touches that were very much appreciated. Lovely views of Ranworth Broad to the front, and to the Church and Alpacas to the rear; and what a treat the Alpacas are to watch from the hot tub… Our only disappointment was that we did not book more nights!
